Garmin Nuvi 260
I am a full-timer RVer who picked the Garmin Nuvi 260 as her navigator. There are three reasons I picked the 260:
1 - Garmin's reputation
2 - the 260 announces street names (ie. 'turn left on Main street', not just 'turn left in 100m')
3 - the 260 has maps for Canada.
What I like most is that it's accurate. I've only very rarely been led astray by bit. The only thing I'd really change is that I would have an 'ignore' button on it. It's very annoying to have your GPS tell you fifty times to 'turn left on Main street' when you can't do so and are trying to navigate your way around a bunch of obstacles. I've traveled all over Canada with my Nuvi 260 and it has served me well in both large cities and tiny hamlets. Rae
