Garmin GPSMap 60CSx
I have a Garmin GPSMap 60CSx and have had it for about a year and a half. I love the color screen, the strong reception it gets while I am out hiking amongst trees and mountains, and the electronic compass in it.
I wish it could store more waypoints (it's limited to 1000) but 1000 is not unreasonable. It is durable (I've dropped it plenty of times on the trail), and comes with a number of features I like including waypoint search by distance, elevation, elevation tracking over time, and an overview map showing me my tracks and waypoints in the area.

"This is a great model for outdoor activities as well as for in car use. Accuracy is great, display is nice, but the screen could stand to be a little bigger. Downside for in car use is that it doesn't talk, only beeps. Out on the trail however, talking is unnecessary anyways. I would definitely recommend anyone who uses a GPS for more than driving directions buy this item."
