I have a TomTom GPS Navigation System and it works great. I love the colors and how there is an option for day time and night time. It's important that your route is highlighted for you so you can see what expected turns are ahead. I use it to travel across the states with, to places that i've never been before. Once I am in those places I use it to help me find museums and places to eat. Some improvements that I would like to see is the size, I like the length but I wish that the thickness was smaller, maybe to about half an inch. The battery runs out really fast which I don't like. Another aspect that is great is that I can take it with me as I walk, using it in the city to walk with is excellent!
