I purchased a TomTom One 130 in October and have found it to be invaluable! It helped me in negotiating the weird streets of a huge city and gave me specific directions to wherever I needed to go.

I do a lot of travel in North-Western Ontario, and its directions in cities and larger towns are very specific and direct. I would like to see more attention paid to some rural areas, as the information outside of my city is very vague and non-specific, sometimes not even showing roads.

I have an original TomTom One (not any of the 125 or 130 or other models currently available) and it has been a lifesaver for me.... for the most part that is.

For whatever reason, I find that there are inaccuracies in the way that it labels certain roads - I want to take 480W but it instructs me to take 480E for whatever reason when traveling south on 271. The freeway lanes dont always match the picture on the map it wants you to take, I guess you could say. I'd like to see some kind of open source "correction" on this - where if enough people complain about one issue, it gets resolved via a public patch.

But other than that, I like that I can turn it to French (I have now memorized "Turn right" and "turn left" and the phrase "400 yards" in a foreign language).

It's easy to navigate, and has a lot of POIs. I've traveled to about 12 states with it, mostly in Ohio.

The brand GPS I have is the TOMTOM GO 920T. I bought this exact model for two reasons mainly. Firstly I needed to either buy one with European maps or upload maps to one that didn't have them. This model had them pre-loaded which saved me around $100. Secondly the AAFES at Fort Polk had them $200 off the normal price so it was a no brain decision for me.

One of my most favorite features about it is the fact that I can connect wireless to my cell phone so when I am driving I can just speak out loud and not have to worry about a headset or holding the phone. I also like the fact that you can go online and download different voices and other features to keep it different.

I am terrible with road directions of any kind, so I basically take it anywhere I go outside of my home town area. I plan to get extensive use from it when I move to Italy in April.

One improvement i would like to see is sometimes I will be driving and it will show up on my screen where I am at just fine, and suddenly my card icon will be off the road doing its own thing and trying to re route me some other way. It has always eventually fixes itself but it is kind of annoying.

I have a TomTom GPS Navigation System and it works great. I love the colors and how there is an option for day time and night time. It's important that your route is highlighted for you so you can see what expected turns are ahead. I use it to travel across the states with, to places that i've never been before. Once I am in those places I use it to help me find museums and places to eat. Some improvements that I would like to see is the size, I like the length but I wish that the thickness was smaller, maybe to about half an inch. The battery runs out really fast which I don't like. Another aspect that is great is that I can take it with me as I walk, using it in the city to walk with is excellent!

I generally use it to find easier routes through Houston and surrounding areas. My TomTom has actually found faster routes for many of my frequent trips. I wish the extra voices did not cost extra, but more voices please!

My boss bought a Tom Tom 910 GPS Navigation System to use for meetings at potential clients homes about 18 months ago. I was very intimidated at the thought of trying to figure out how to use it since I do not consider myself computer savvy at all. I would take it along to meetings with a printed map just to make my boss think I was using it.

One day I decided to just play with it a bit and prove myself right that it was too complicated to use. To my surprise it was so easy I had it down pat in three to four tries without ever looking at the directions.

I love the different languages it gives directions in since I speak several and have tried out every accent on it as well. There's just something great about having someone in an Aussie accent tell you to make a right turn in 400 yards. If you think you know a better way to reach your destination and go off the chosen path, it is able to reroute you within 5 seconds. If you are not paying attention and miss your turn, it is impossible to miss the please turn around when possible every two seconds.

My only real complaint with the Tom Tom 910 is that we live in a rapidly developing area and it is not always able to direct you to some of the newer addresses. I would love to see them update more often to help fix this problem.

In my opinion, you could not ask for a better product when traveling to well established areas

I currently own the a GPS called "One". It is made by TomTom and I have grown increasingly dependent on it's abilities. What I love about the GPS is that I can go absolutely anywhere (even if i've never been there before) and not get lost. I usually end up finding my destination within the time estimated, and if it is night time, my Global Positioning System will change it's colors to night mode so that I can better detail the mapping inside the screen. I have taken my GPS throughout all of my home state of Florida, and the fact that it talks to me is awesome! It's like having someone keep you company.

I don't think that the TomTom One needs any improvements at all.

I bought a basic TOMTOM 1 GPS System from best buy when it was on sale about a year ago. I really enjoy the relatively easy interface that it has. Ive used it on multiple road trips from Phoenix to Des Moines and basically all over the Phoenix metro area.

The only problem that I have had is that it isn't as updated as I would have liked it to be. Some streets aren't on the TOMTOM. I also think that they could improve the specific location of place because sometimes I do not know which side of the road to be looking on. This can cause numerous problems, especially if the business or place is relatively small.
